Speed Networking for Those Working to Counter the Anti-immigration Narratives is a monthly gathering on Zoom for people all across the globe to come together, network and work collaboratively.

With the growing influence of far-right narratives influencing mainstream politics and the horrendous real-world consequences this is having on individuals, communities and societies we must work pro-actively, creatively and dynamically to counter these narratives.

These monthly gatherings provide a space where we can grow and strengthen our networks whilst simultaneously working to identify key anti-immigration narratives, deconstruct them, develop specific counter-narratives and then identify the most effective ways of disseminating those narratives to reach the people who need to hear them.

The gatherings bring together people from countries in the global north as well as people in those countries where migration is happening from and of course migrants themselves. This allows for a broad perspective while also allowing space to develop country-specific networks and counter-narratives.

The structure of the gatherings is as follows;

πŸ’₯ One hour.
πŸ’₯ Break out rooms with three participants in each
πŸ’₯ Each participant attends two break out rooms during the meeting
πŸ’₯Time given during each session in the main room for selected participants to give short presentations.

Please share this page as widely as you can so that we can extend our network. Thank you.

Next gathering: Thursday 29th May at 2pm BST (GMT +1)
